THE VIRTUAL DESIGNER
AFFORDABLE REMOTE DESIGN SERVICE FOR YOUR RESIDENTIAL PROJECT
Design inspiration and professional guidance
What is Virtual Design and who is it for?
An affordable option for those who are looking for some design inspiration and professional guidance with space planning and design direction.
Maybe you’d like to update your existing layout to be open plan but you don’t know where to start. Or perhaps you have so many ideas that you’re struggling to pin point which will work best for you? Whether you’d like help with space planning and floor plans, or the full design service which includes finishes and 3D visualisation, we can tailor a package to suit you.
What is the process?
We would begin with a phone consultation so we get a feel for your project and general requirements. From here, we would ask you to fill out a client questionnaire to give us a clear and in-depth understanding of your likes and dislikes. You will be asked to take dimensions of the space, including window/door locations, radiator positions and any services that might affect the scheme. It’s also very helpful to have photos and videos to understand the existing space and features.
What will I receive?
Once we receive your information we will form a brief so we’re clear about the direction you’d like to take. Once discussed, agreed (and depending on your requirements), we can provide:
- 2D plans/elevations
- Mood boards with materials and finishes, lighting and furniture suggestions
- Simple grey-scale 3D visuals/sketches (an option if you’d like help with visualising the space in 3D form but are happy to visualise the finishes yourself)
- Photo realistic 3D visuals
What are the timescales?
The timescales will depend on the size of your project and what level of service you require. If you opt for 2D space planning drawings, these will be completed within 10 days. If your project involves multiple rooms with photo realistic renders, we can discuss and try to work within your time frame.
How Much will it cost?
The price will depend on the size of the space and the level of input you require. Typically, space planning for a ground floor rear extension will cost from £300, if photo realistic visuals and mood boards are included, costs will increase to upwards of £600.
